Meet Danielle, living in Northwest England. She lives with her partner and their three energetic boys, forming a lively famiily unit. Their home is lively and chaotic, filled with the antics of Labradors, a wandering tortoise, curious rats, and playful gerbils. It's a place where love and acceptance are key and where everyone's unique interests find a space.

Danielle herself was diagnosed with Autism and ADHD (inattentive type) later in life, a revelation that came while navigating other family members assessments. This experience has been a learning journey for the whole family, helping them understand each other's neurodivergence and finding ways to manage conflicts and respect individual needs.

Professionally, Danielle has been a Probation Officer since the early 2000s, working across various settings like prisons, courts, juvenile and adult attendance centres and sentence management. She's facilitated CBT groups, managed group treatments, and specialized in personality disorders. These roles have given her a deep understanding of the Criminal Justice System, its impact on individuals and families, and the challenges faced by victims. Through her Probation Practice, Danielle identified the disproportionate representation of undiagnosed neurodivergent individuals, something she is passionate about changing.

In 2017, Danielle expanded her career to become a Health and Life Coach. She worked with the NHS as a Senior Health Coach and now holds various qualifications, including an ICF-accredited Life Coach Qualification, a Level 4 Diploma in Health Coaching, and a Level 4 Diploma in CBT and Counselling. She holds a Level 5 Diploma in Positive Psychology and Autism.

Danielle has numerous qualifications, with degrees in Psychology and Community Justice, alongside postgraduate certifications in various relevant fields, including positive psychology and behaviour change. She's continually expanding her knowledge, currently pursuing further training in positive psychology and neurodiversity coaching. Danielle is working towards Chartership status as a coaching psychologist with BPS.

Recently, Danielle completed a PESI webinar on ADHD and has received an additional 44 hours of Continued Coaching Practice through the ADHD conference. She's also earned a certificate in Professional Development from PESI UK for studying an ADHD Certification Course and has additional qualifications in Dyslexia, Autism, and ADHD awareness.

Danielle is also working towards ADHD coaching accreditation with Mentor Coach, having completed programmes one and two:

1. ADHD and Positive Psychology

2. ADHD and Positive Psychology for Adults

3. ADHD and Positive Psychology for, Children, Young People & Parents

Following this she will gain accreditation with the Professional Association of ADHD Coaches.  Her approach to practice is trauma-informed, focusing on understanding and responding to the trauma in people's lives, a perspective particularly relevant to the neurodivergent community.

Danielle's passion lies in blending Positive Psychology, Coaching Psychology, Behaviour Change, and Life Coaching to improve lives. Her journey and dedication drive her belief that everyone deserves access to tools and resources for a fulfilling life. She's committed to creating a world where neurodivergent individuals not only survive but thrive.
